Welcome to the MAG Studio website. Use of the site and the services offered on it is subject to the terms below. Browsing the site constitutes agreement to these terms.
General
These terms are written in the masculine form for convenience only and apply to all genders. Wherever “the studio” appears, it refers to MAG Studio and anyone acting on its behalf.
The services
The studio provides recording and music production, mixing and mastering, video shooting and editing, and distribution and promotion of works. The scope of the service, the schedule and the price are set separately for each project and approved in advance with the client.
The prices shown on the site are starting prices for illustration and do not constitute a binding offer. A binding quote will be provided in writing after the needs have been clarified.
Booking sessions and cancellations
- A session is booked with the studio by prior arrangement.
- Cancelling or postponing a session shall be done with reasonable advance notice, at least 48 hours ahead.
- Failing to attend a session without prior notice may incur full or partial payment, according to what was agreed.
Copyright in the work
Copyright in a work recorded or produced at the studio belongs to the client or to the creators, as agreed between them. The studio does not acquire ownership of the work merely by carrying out the work.
The studio may show excerpts of the work in its portfolio and marketing channels for professional demonstration purposes, unless the client has requested otherwise in writing. The client may ask for an item to be removed from the portfolio at any time.
Materials supplied by the client
The client is responsible for holding all rights in the materials brought to the studio: lyrics, melody, recordings, photos or video. The studio is not responsible for infringement of third-party rights in materials supplied to it.
File retention
The studio keeps project files for a reasonable period after the work is completed, but does not serve as a permanent archive. Clients are advised to keep their own copy of the final files.
Payments
Payment terms are set in the quote. Delivery of the final files is conditional on completion of payment, unless agreed otherwise.
Privacy and mailing
Details submitted in the contact form are used solely to respond to the enquiry. Anyone who ticked the marketing consent box may receive updates from the studio, and may unsubscribe at any time by contacting us.
The site uses cookies for proper operation, and third-party services such as YouTube, Google Maps and reCAPTCHA, which have their own privacy policies.
Liability
The studio works professionally and to the best of its ability, but does not guarantee any particular artistic or commercial outcome, including the number of plays, exposure or commercial success of a work.
Changes to these terms
The studio may update these terms from time to time. The binding version is the one published on the site at the time of use.
